The primary aspect of our inception is to serve the society, especially those who are unable to care for themselves. It is with this intention that we have created various facilities that we like to call ‘care homes’ for children, elderly and mentally challenged. Anuben’s legacy reflects in these dedicated facilities that are home to all those who come to seek shelter.
Children are the image of God and Parivar Mandir is home to children who do not have anyone to care for them. Anuben believed that every child should be given the opportunity to live a good life, with proper upbringing, care and facilities at their disposal. And hence at Parivar Mandir we create a family like environment, where every child is loved and taken care of like they were our own. It is heartwarming to us when we hear the children calling Dr. Vikram ‘Papa’, out of respect of the fatherly figure that he has become for them.
We provide our children will all the facilities including lodging, food, education and medical care. We also tend to their social, emotional and spiritual needs through interactive programs.
Adoption is another important aspect of Parivar Mandir that we take very seriously. Though we receive many requests for adoptions, we ensure that before giving our children away to interested families, they are capable enough for caring for the children as we have done for them.
Individuals with mental incapacities are often neglected and secluded from the society. The problems that such unfortunate people face in turn further affect their hearts and minds. Women with mental disabilities are especially the most victimized. To help such women, who either do not find the love from society or if their families can no longer support them, we have established a sanctuary that provides care, comfort, love and treatment to them.
Designed by India’s leading Architect Mr. Manoj Patel, Bhagini Mandir has 20 rooms, each spacious enough to accommodate 5 women. Regardless of her age, when a girl or a woman comes to Bhagini Mandir, we conduct a comprehensive evaluation to find out about her strengths and needs. The results are evaluated by our resident doctors who provide the best possible treatment to these women, with the hope of giving them better lives. To make them self sufficient, women are encouraged to carry out basic chores like cleaning, or assisting in cooking, which in turn helps them focus and sharpens their minds.
As the world is moving forward, lives of people are getting busier and busier. The result is their ignorance towards duties and responsibilities, especially towards the elderly. As a result, the number of old-age homes has risen manifolds in the country. Anuben saw this situation to be great cause for concern and built 3 homes for the elderly, Gokul, Vrindavan and Mathura under the umbrella, Vanprastha Mandir.
These homes are not only the beacons of hope for the elderly, but a sanctuary for them to live their lives in a happy and dignified manner. Along with residential services, medical and healthcare facilities are also provided to the elderly. We encourage every resident of the facility to socialize and feel independent. Our staff, treats them their own family and provides personal attention to every person at Vanpratha Mandir.
To provide a better experience to every elderly person, we are already in the process of building a new Vanprasth Mandir complex with air-conditioned residential units, computers with Internet connectivity, coffee shops and other campus services like grocery stores and gymnasium.
